Block pARTy
Held at ReClaim It in late summer, our annual Block pARTy lights up the Killingsworth Corner with tons of cool reuse art & activities for all ages. Our partner reuse organizations & awesome local musicians bring the festivities & recycling know-how to the next level.

Holiday Shop
This event includes garden art, as well as home & holiday decor, jewelry, clothing & huggables—all perfect for sustainable gift-giving!
The Holiday Shop pops up in a new Portland spot each December! We’re grateful to everyone who chooses reuse for their holiday shopping—as well as the talented artists & dedicated volunteers who make it all possible.
Plant Fest: An Earth Day Celebration
We celebrate Earth Day weekend annually with our popular Plant Fest.
It features native flora from Bosky Dell Natives, garden starts from Lil Starts Farm, can & bottle recycling through BottleDrop Give to benefit our mission, live music from local bands on Saturday & a plant swap on Sunday!
Plant Fest is always a blast at ReClaim It & we love this opportunity to show gratitude to our beautiful planet for its constant renewal!
Garden Duet
This summer event provides a special opportunity for attendees to tour two private gardens filled to the brim with awesome outdoor & garden art made from at least 80% reused materials.
The Garden Duet finds its home in a different Portland neighborhood each summer, so it’s an excellent way to explore a new corner of the city—or we might just sprout up in your neighborhood this year!
GLEAN Artists-in-Residence Program
GLEAN: To collect gradually and bit by bit.
We proudly partner with Metro & Recology to sponsor GLEAN, a juried art program that taps into the creativity of Portland-area artists to inspire people to think about their consumption habits, the waste they generate & the resources they throw away.
5 months. 5 artists pushing the boundaries of materials exploration. With a $2,000 stipend & seemingly endless materials, artists are encouraged to translate their studio practice with the challenge of making work with discovered discarded materials from the Portland Metro Transfer Station (aka, the “dump”).
Each year, the program culminates in a formal gallery exhibition where artists receive 80% commission from the sale of their art.
